I have been passionate for PEACE all my life. I have worked locally and nationally to bring communities together. My activity for PEACE began a new phase at a conference in August 2002, organised by South Asian Development Partnership, in response to Hindu-Muslim conflict in Gujarat.
This led to a series of conferences across the country, up to April 2023:
August 2002 (London): ‘Healing the Wounds: Human Rights and Minorities in India’, responding to issues arising from violence in Gujarat, particularly between Hindus and Muslims.
January 2004 (Delhi): ‘Building Bridges - An NRI/Civil Society Partnership’, organised by the India Development Trust (UK).
November 2005 (London): ‘7/7 and Beyond – A South Asian response to the London bombings’
September 2006 (Reading): ‘Peace in our Communities’
October 2007 (Birmingham & Leeds): ‘7/7 and Beyond - Peace for our Communities’
January 2008 (London): ‘7/7 and Beyond - Peace for our Communities’
April 2012 (London): ‘Children’s Voices for Peace’
March and November 2016 (Bradford): ‘Real Lives Stories Questions’

From 2019 I have worked through the Magna Carta World Peace and Sustainability Foundation.
